Völva, Valkyrie, Norn is an experiential weekly online 5-month course for personal, practical, and spiritual development. Drawing from Scandinavian and Germanic lore and myths, this path of wisdom and practical magic focuses on the strengths, knowledge, and innate wisdom of the little-understood Valkyries.
What can you expect from this workshop?
Well known in contemporary culture as Choosers of the Slain, guiding warriors to Valhalla for the god Odin, the Valkyries are much, much more. As Disir, the Valkyries are Guardian Spirits, guiding individuals and families. As Norns, Valkyries lay fates upon those they guide, protect, or single out, sometimes over lifetimes or generations of family. As Shapeshifters, Valkyries transform into ravens and swans with attributes connected with battle or healing. As the Wild Hunt, the Valkyrie ride with Odin and Freya, collecting lost souls. As Völvas, the valkyries make predictions that support individuals becoming more truly themselves. As wild and untamed feminine beings in strong connection with their own creative powers, their goddess is Freya, whose Valkyrie name is Vanadis. As profound nature beings, the Valkyries ride the skies as the Northern Lights, reaching out and initiating, connecting, and transforming.
To understand Valkyries more deeply, we will engage in exploration and practice with the Norse view of the 9 Aspects of the Soul. Working with myths, stories, and legends, our meetings with individual Valkyries will empower, enrich, and free our own untamed selves.
Join us! There are no prerequisites, and the program is open to all.
Scandinavian or Germanic ancestry is not required. The Valkyries are accessible to all.
Shamanic journeying, guided imagery journeys, mediumship, and Seidr will be included.
The live weekly courses will be recorded and available in your Kajabi library to watch at your convenience.
This is a practical application of bringing knowledge and Seidr practice into contemporary time so that we can find our professional place in modern society, allowing for each practitioner’s unique style and individual gifts to emerge, evolve and be shared within their communities.

Who is Betsy Bergstrom?
Betsy Bergstrom is a full-time shamanic teacher and practitioner, considered by many to be the foremost workshop leader specialising in despossesion methods teaching in the world today.
She holds the rare ability to open portals between worlds, archetypes and dimensions for the explicit purpose of gathering knowledge, changing possibilities and attuning to a higher awareness. As a recognised seer and oracle, she brings inspiration and knowledge to her students through constellating mythic landscapes with important stories to tell. For the last decade her gifts have focused on the compassionate release of possessing spirits to create healing for the possessed, the possessor and the world itself.
As well as extensive training with both indigenous shamans and in classical shamanism, Betsy is a lineage holder and dharma protector in the Tibetan Shije tradition of Chöd in the lineage of Machik Lapdron and Padampa Sangye dedicated to sharing Dakini Wisdom.
